On November 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sino-Thai Education Co., Ltd. co-organized a meeting to promote cooperation and sign a letter of intent under the Thailand-China Digital Skill Development Project between Bangkok College of Business Administration and Tourism and Zhejiang College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The meeting was held in an online format.
We were honored to have Dr. Rangsan Thepmontri, Director of the Policy and Strategy Group, Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ms. Hu Qingling, Director of Zhejiang College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Dr. Chaovalit Yuthanawa, Director of Bangkok College of Business Administration and Tourism, Mr. Dou Tiqian, Chairman of the Alliance of International Chinese Language Teaching Model Schools in Thailand, Mr. Qin Gangqiang, Vice President of Beijing Bodao Future Information Technology Co., Ltd., as well as faculty members, students, and students attending the meeting.
In this meeting, projects and plans for cooperation in developing China-Thailand digital skills were introduced. Mr. Qin Gangqian, Secretary-General of the Committee for Driving the China-Thailand Digital Skill Development Cooperation Project, introduced the overview, results of operations, and progress plans. And the preparation of the cooperation project in digital skills development between Thai-Chinese colleges to allow both colleges to better understand the origin and operation of the project, Dr. Chaovalit Yuthanawa, Director of Bangkok College of Business Administration and Tourism, and Ms. Hu Qingling, Director of Zhejiang College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, introduced the overview of both Thai-Chinese colleges and the cooperation issues of interest, and discussed opinions on cooperation plans in various issues. This meeting was the first meeting to discuss cooperation guidelines, and both parties agreed to sign a letter of intent for mutual cooperation on the meeting date. They also shared knowledge on bilingual online teaching media platform resources under the lesson set “Chinese + Professional Skills” on the topic of Basics of E-Commerce Operations with Bangkok College of Business Administration and Tourism, and both parties were willing to produce joint learning media to promote the policy of lifelong learning. This meeting allowed Thai and Chinese colleges to better understand each other, which will lead to the development to further develop the education system and develop sustainable vocational education.
