Therefore, we have set a policy to promote Chinese language teaching and learning. The objective is to develop and enhance the Chinese language potential of teachers and students to be able to compete with other countries. The Office of the Private Education Commission, as an agency that promotes and supports the organization of teaching and learning in private schools to provide students with knowledge and skills in technology, economy, and society, has set a continuous project to develop Chinese language teaching and learning in private schools. We have received cooperation from many agencies, including co-organizing the online Chinese language learning project with a virtual HSK Chinese pre-test, 1st generation, amidst the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019. I would like to commend the dedication and efforts to jointly develop Chinese language teaching and learning during this difficult time.”

The COVID-19 outbreak has severely impacted on-site learning. Sino-Thai Education Co., Ltd. (STE) has focused on developing various educational projects, such as research and development of teaching media, creating and developing learning through online platforms, and working on creating cooperation and developing teaching models in the form of vocational education 1+X, which has been very successful. During the various operations, Sino-Thai Education Co., Ltd. (STE) has collaborated with relevant agencies to jointly organize online Chinese learning projects, such as agencies under the Ministry of Education, universities and schools in the area, and educational institutions in China. From the development and testing over the past year, it has officially started to apply learning through the online platform “SinothaiEdu+Elearning” in this training, which has been very well-received by the learners. The highlight of the SinothaiEdu+Elearning platform is that learners can learn Chinese with native teachers online, in live broadcast format or self-learning via the E-Learning system, which allows learners to choose to study according to various learning topics, such as intensive Chinese tutoring, Chinese grammar, Chinese for communication, Chinese for business, etc. In addition, learners can also test their Chinese knowledge level online in a virtual format and ask frequently asked questions about learning with teachers. The aim is to meet the needs and enhance the learners' interest and knowledge of Chinese effectively.
