Thailand Chinese Language and Culture Competition Wins Trophies 3rd “Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai” and World Confucius Institute Day 2022

On December 24, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Thai time), there was an event for the Chinese Language and Culture Competition of Thailand to compete for the trophy of “Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai” at Chongfah Sinseng Vanich Bamrung School. and broadcast live on Facebook, which is a Chinese language competition initiated by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai. In order to stimulate the learning of Chinese language and culture for Thai students. Promote the development of Chinese language education in Thailand The 3rd edition of this competition was organized in collaboration with Chongfah Sinseng Vanichbamrung School, Confucius Institute, Chiang Mai University. Yunnan Normal University and Sinothai Education Technology Co., Ltd.

This competition consists of a Chinese singing competition. Chinese speech competition handwriting competition Chinese cooking competition drawing competition and wushu martial arts competition which covers competitions at both the junior high school level and high school, a total of 10 items, divided by grade level By organizing competitions both online and onsite.

This year's competition Received support and assistance from the Office of the Basic Education Commission and the Office of the Private Education Commission. There were a total of 1,432 people interested in applying to participate in the competition from 49 provinces, 269 schools. In the final round, famous experts from many institutions were invited to join the judging committee for this competition, such as experts From the Chinese language department Faculty of Humanities Chiang Mai University, Confucius Institute, CMU, Yunnan Normal University, etc.

After the opening ceremony and morning competition The results of the competition were announced and awards were given. To the contestants The prizes are divided according to type as follows:
Winner prize into to 10 prizes. 1st runner up prize  prize money and certificates 10 prizes. 2nd runner up prize.prize money and certificates total of 10 prizes,Honorable mention into to 50 prizes,Instructor Award Prize money and certificates amount of 10 awards.
